Payments
1. All invoices for the South African Society of Dairy Technology (SASDT) Suid Afrikaanse Vereniging vir Suiweltegnologie (SAVST)’ Dairy symposium (here after referred to as SASDT
symposium) will be managed by Food Risk Forum (Pty) Ltd trading as Food Focus OR Anelich Consulting based on vendor selection at the payment stage of registration.
2. All fees and/or costs are including VAT (unless otherwise specified).
3. Invoice is presented on registration and immediately payable on Paygate with your credit card or an EFT.
4. Payment terms of the registrations are based on full payment upfront before any content will be shared.
5. On registration, you will receive a pro-forma invoice which can be use for payment purposes.
6. Tax invoices can be requested from info@sasdt.org.za
7. All registration will be confirmed. Space is limited to 80 delegates
8. All registrations will close ##18 March 2022. All payments must reach our account by 22 March 2022.
9. Payment will be made into the SASDT bank account
10. Foreign payments will include bank charges.
Students
11. Students must provide certified proof of registration at a higher learning institution for 2022.
Communication
12. By registering for the SASDT symposium, you agree to be contacted by SASDT national committee.
Sponsors
13. SASDT symposium reserves the right to deal exclusively with all invited service providers.
14. Invitations will be at SASDT’s discretion.
Speakers
15. The programme will be agreed upon with the speakers.
16. The programme is subject to change
17. SASDT reserves the right to deal exclusively with all invited speakers.
Delegates
18. SASDT reserve the right of admission.
19. Only delegates that have provided proof of payment will be confirmed as registered.
Cancellations
20. Any cancellation will incur a 35 % handling fee.
21. All cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@sasdt.org.za by 18 March 2022
22. After 18 March, no refunds will be made
Overdue Accounts
23. SASDT reserve the right to remove paid sponsors from the website for overdue/unpaid accounts.
24. 10 % Interest will be levied on overdue accounts older than 60 days.
25. Unpaid accounts will be handed over to debt collection after 90 days.

1. Detailed description of goods and/or services
The SASDT makes use of the services of the Food Risk Forum T/A Food Focus, is a business in the food industry that provides digital media content, advertising and support services.
2. Export restriction
The offering on this website is available to South African and international clients only.
3. Return and Refunds policy
The provision of goods and services by SASDT is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability SASDT will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of registration by the delegate will
attract a 35 % administration fee. (If appropriate – provide details of your policy regarding damaged goods. Also mention guarantees, warranties, etc.)
4. Customer Privacy policy
SASDT shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to
Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from: http://www.polity.org.za/attachment.php?aa_id=3569.
5. Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express Cards or by bank transfer into the SASDT bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.
6. Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for Food Risk Forum T/A Food Focus via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
7. Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by SASDT separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on DPO PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
8. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
9. Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and SASDT chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature.
10. Variation
SASDT may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.

This website is run by SASDT based in South Africa trading as Food Focus and with registration number 2015 / 392665 / 07 and Adele Krogh, Bridget Day and Linda Jackson (Directors).
